Foli Privacy Policy · Effective August 16, 2026
Foli is a private creative asset manager and publishing application. It does not create a public profile, sell your information, or operate a separate server that receives your library.
Foli stores the projects, images, videos, metadata, credits, rights information, notes, layouts, documents, and other content you choose to add. This information provides the app’s organization, editing, publishing, and export features.
Foli keeps full-resolution managed originals in its app-specific iCloud Documents workspace and can optimize local storage. Foli’s developer does not operate a separate server that receives your library, and Foli does not use CloudKit or require a Foli account.
Foli accesses only the photos and files you select or permissions you grant. Imported content is copied into Foli’s managed library. Foli does not modify original content in Apple Photos.
Foli may use Apple-provided on-device technologies to suggest categories, labels, people, places, image quality, captions, or filenames. Face analysis and focused name suggestions run on the device and are not uploaded to Foli’s developer.
Features you choose may use Apple Maps, the system Share sheet, or an external editor. Information is shared with those services only when needed for the action you request and is handled under their privacy terms.
Foli does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or developer-operated analytics in the current planned release. Foli does not sell personal information.
Foli exports portable social media and does not publish directly to social networks. HTML outreach opens as a draft in Apple Mail so you can review and send it.
Your information remains until you delete it. Recently Deleted may retain recoverable content for up to 30 days. Changes to the managed iCloud library may synchronize through your Apple iCloud account according to Apple’s iCloud behavior.
